The Man Who Died

Tue Oct 28, 2003, 9:01 PM
And now, a poem I wrote many years ago.

The Man Who Died

I saw the pale Death riding
On a haunted mount of black
Where he looked the thunder rumbled
Where he stood the lightning cracked
His steed was great and fell
Its eyes were gleaming red
With bloodlines straight from hell
And horns upon its head.

In the wake of horse and rider
There followed like a plague
A dark and ominous twilight,
A shadow mist of grey
And in this horrid fog
Flew the souls of the damned
And demons beat them on
To follow Death like frightened lambs
All who saw him fled before him
And withered like the grass
He held the minds of millions
Controlled them with his hand
He made them all to do his bidding
All except one man.

He stood alone in the path of Death
Dressed head to toe in black
He wore Death's own color
And did not bow his back
He wore no steel or armor
For his sword was in his mind
His iron will composed him
And his eyes were all ashine
Before him Death did tremble
His steed grew small and tame
The armies of hell recoiled
As their leader did the same.

That man died that day
He died like all the rest
But in his death he proved
His power passed the test.

Death is just a stage of life
We all must face some day
And when Death I face this man I'll remember
And go the same brave way
For Death is not to be feared
His power rules the flesh
But our souls he cannot harm
Unless we fail the test.

No comments. I'm just a normal human like you (if you are human, though ^_~).

A Naruhina doujinshi, ~so-over-you!

Any more luck selling your vita-meata-veggimins? lol *hugs*

See ya in paints

Oi (*-_-)

Yeah, the vita-meata-veggimin business has been booming. I've taken to lacing my samples with narcotics to addict my victims, er, customers...

...ahem.

You've a lovely gallery. It appears that I must hate you out of jealousy :P.

In any case, thanks for dropping a line. Around here, it seems that a guy has to sell his body to get people to visit his page.

...Which would be just fine, except for a lack of willing customers. Most end up registering complaints with "Product Quality and Control."

I tried lacing _myself_ with narcotics, but that just backfired. Spectacularly.

...
...
...

Now that I think about it, I really should have stopped after "Oi"...

Yeah...That'll teach you to talk to a stranger.
:iconsera-keen:
Don't hate me cuz I'm beautiful! lol *kidding* You're pretty funny, btw.

Sorry for the freaky stalkage... I'm pretty eccentric all round. & If the narcotics aren't working for you though, you could always try hallucinogens.. those are fun.

Best way to get page hits is to make friends... people will follow you just for the drama. Asking for genuine critique will get you attention as well. *hugs*

I'm in class now.. I think I need to pay attention.. see ya round! *waves*

Freaky Stalkage bothers me not.

You see, I don't do the whole "make friends" thing. Therefore, the only friends I have are the freaky stalker ones who refuse to leave me alone no matter how bad I treat them.

...Either they're stalkers, or they have deep seated issues which I have no desire to learn about...

...Ja na.

Meh.. guess friends are a byproduct of not living life as a prince of darkness then. ;p Minions are ALWAYS cool though.

I promise I won't leave you alone no matter how bad you treat me. *eternal poking of doom* lol Imma warn you now though, things get ..interesting.. if you do actually treat me poorly. heh So, truce? =^_^= I totally support polite, mutual relations and exchange of information when friendship is not an option.

PS I'm trying to design a vampire costume for a friend.. mebbe you could give me a few suggestions since I'm a n00b?
